WFH Legging Life

the heart is a texture

As we enter our nth month of wfh in the era of covid, I have to admit that my leggings aren’t getting the wear that they used to. I’m not teaching back in a studio yet, or even practicing in a studio yet. My home practice is admittedly inconsistent. My leggings are getting a lot of seated time in Webex and Zoom calls vs chaturangas.

However, it’s an excuse to have more fun with leggings.

Pre-covid I was stuck in solids when it came to my legging style. I have approximately 10 pairs of black leggings, assorted blues and purples, a few bright reds and oranges, etc. I was more wild with tops, but there was a sense that as an instructor, I should be a little more restrained and not call attention to myself. Basically, be the wallpaper. I’m sure there’s a bit of feeling self conscious that crept in as well. Hear my voice, but don’t look at me.

But in my heart, I love the dramatic, fun legging style. And Yoga Democracy is feeding that love.

Yoga Democracy leggings feed my soul.

I’m digging their Halloween styles (and other seasonals) but they’re probably best known for their Frida Kahlo leggings. There’s literally something for everyone. Plus there’s a 20% off sale right now.

Spice up your Covid wardrobe with new pants (you deserve it). I’ll keep posting my favorite affiliate links throughout the next few weeks!
